The cover art representing four incarnations of Santigold was designed by Jason Schmidt.〔 The record was produced with a wide range of different collaborators and producers including longtime friends like Switch and Diplo, as well as David Andrew Sitek of TV on the Radio and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. ''Master of My Make-Believe'' was preceded by two singles: "Big Mouth" and "Disparate Youth". The song "Go" (featuring Karen O) premiered in April 2011, but was not available for purchase until the album was released in 2012. The album earned Santigold her first number one on the ''Billboard'' Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and it reached number twenty-one on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and number thirty-three on the UK Albums Chart.〔〔 In May 2012, Santigold posted a photo on Instagram from the set of the video for "The Keepers", announcing it would be the next single.
